Communication Improvement Training for Directors in an International Bank
For one more year Violeta Azis, PhD, and I conducted a training session for the directors of a large international Bank (who wished to remain anonymous). The group work was attended by 60 people, managers from the head office and branches across the country. We have developed a personalized program which has met the needs of the teams, facing different difficulties in their work and communication. We supported the cohesion and team spirit building, by providing a space to explore hidden challenges and new solutions.
The methodology used combines several approaches: Psychodrama, Sociometry, Social and Organizational Psychology. The work model is original and is specifically designed for corporate and business environments. We label it as “Business Therapy”– a methodology for group work through real experience, supported by an in-depth analysis of organizational processes at several levels, in order to increase the effectiveness and productivity of the teamwork and on an individual level.
Combined, all these approaches give space to play out issues, events and challenges on stage with the participation of those involved in the group. The focus of the possible scenes can be both real and presumed difficulties, thoughts, questions, conflicts and situations of everyday life.
The completed work is followed by feedback and reports that describe the process and propose specific strategies.
Our work with the Bank continues throughout the year. We look forward to increased effectiveness in communication, successful conflict resolution, and the use of leadership skills within the organization.
